Georgetown Central School is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Special Education Educational Technician to provide special education support in the kindergarten classroom. This role focuses on assisting students with special education services with the carryover of specific skills and strategies throughout their entire school day.

Position Details

• Schedule: 2-3 days per week / 7 hours per day.
• Start Date: immediately for the remainder of the 2026-2027 the school year.
• Location: Georgetown Central School.

Key Responsibilities

• 1:1 Student Support: Provide dedicated assistance to support the academic and social needs of students within the general education classroom throughout the day.
• Strategy Implementation: Execute specialized strategies, behavioral modifications, and accommodations to support the students' unique learning profiles.
• Instructional Support: Facilitate engagement during academic centers, outdoor learning, and all other school activities.
• Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with the special education Case Manager, the Lead Teacher, and building administration to ensure effective implementation of goals.

Rate of pay for this position will be between $20 and $24 per hour
