Job summary

Talbot Community School seeks a Special Education Ed Tech III / Behavioral Health Professional to support students with ASD and other neurodevelopmental needs. You will assist the Special Education Teacher, implement behavior plans, track data, and participate in crisis intervention as part of a collaborative educational team.

Qualifications

• Ability to implement specially designed instruction for students with IEPs.
• Experience coordinating with related service providers (SLP, OT, PT, social workers).
• Familiarity with data collection and Mainecare billing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide properly designed instruction to students with IEPs.
• Follow and implement lesson plans and schedules.
• Assist with small-group and community-based instruction.
• Implement PSPs, BIPs, and ITPs.
• Maintain data collection and progress monitoring.
• Support positive behavior and crisis de-escalation.
• Coordinate with teachers and related service providers.
• Supervise students and assist with routines and safety.
