Job summary

West Bath School Administrative Unit seeks a 40% FTE PK-12 Special Education Director to join our student-centered, professional team.

The successful candidate will use leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills to develop and maintain appropriately designed special services for all West Bath students in need, in line with the district’s mission, vision, and beliefs. E.O.E.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for Maine Department of Education’s Administrator of Special Education certificate (030).
• Must have a valid CHRC certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, supervision, and administrative oversight for PK-12 special education programs.
• Develop, achieve, and maintain compliant, mission-aligned special services for all students in need of specially designed instruction.

The West Bath School Administrative Unit seeks a 40% FTE PK-12 Special Education Director to join our student-centered, professional team.

The desired candidate must have a passion for the education of all students and use leadership, supervisory, and administrative skills to develop, achieve, and maintain appropriate special services programs for all West Bath students in need of specially designed instruction in accordance with the mission, vision, and beliefs of the school district.
