Mechanicsburg Area School District is seeking a Special Education Department Coordinator (Secondary) effective for the 2025/2026 school year.

Job Summary:

Provide assistance to the overall management of the Special Education program for the school district, including staff needs, curriculum, materials, and student case management. Ensure the district's compliance with federal and state law.

Qualifications:

• Proper Pennsylvania Special Education certification is required.
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in public education, including elementary or secondary school instruction and special education programs.
• Master's degree and supervisory certification are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and knowledge of special education case law are necessary.
• Ability to serve in a coaching capacity for special education teachers.

Additional Requirements:
