Job summary

The Sylvania district seeks a dedicated school-based administrative assistant to support special education paperwork compliance across district, state, and federal requirements. This role assists teachers, maintains IEP data, schedules meetings, and ensures accurate record keeping.

Responsibilities include data entry in SEAS/Data systems, Medicaid billing reports, coordinating demographics between Power School and SEAS, and seamless travel between campuses as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; must have adequate college credits or pass ParaPro exam.
  • Secretary/Clerical experience preferably in a school district.
  • Ability to work efficiently and harmoniously with supervisors, staff and parents.
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
  • Three years’ experience as secretary (desired).
  • Certificate from two-year college (desired).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Must have adequate college credits or be able to pass the ParaPro exam.
  • Secretary/Clerical experience preferably in a school district.
  • Ability to work efficiently and harmoniously with supervisors, staff and parents. · Computer experience
  • Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
Desired

  • Certificate from two-year college.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
