Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking an educational aide to support teachers in implementing instructional programs and guiding students toward their academic potential in a structured learning environment.

Under supervision, you will assist in planning and directing learning activities, work with small groups, and help meet the academic, social, and physical needs of students, while supporting administrative tasks and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required and highly qualified status as defined by the district.
• Associates degree or higher or 60 college credits meet requirements.
• ParaPro assessment passed or able to pass.
• Proficient in Word, spreadsheets, and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing behavior and procedures to support learning.
• Assist in planning and directing learning activities.
• Assist in working with small groups of learners to meet needs.
• Assist in meeting physical needs of students as needed.
• Support instructional administration tasks (materials, attendance, grades).
• Participate in in-service training to upgrade knowledge and skills.
• Support teachers, parents, and students to meet educational and social needs.
• Perform duties in Journeys, Title I, Pathways, etc., as assigned.
