Job summary

ReNEW Schools is seeking a Caregiver for the 2026-2027 School Year to support students with daily living skills. Responsibilities include assisting with feeding, toileting, and supervising lunch, as well as providing support for activities outlined in individual care plans.

The ideal candidate should possess an Associate's Degree or a High School Diploma with relevant certification and experience with special needs youth. This position offers a salary range of $25,900 to $48,651 per year.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of special needs and/or behaviorally challenged youth.
• Ability to physically restrain student(s) up to 200 lbs.
• Relevant medical/nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist students with essential daily living skills.
• Assist with feeding, clothing, toileting, and transitioning students.
• Supervise lunch and escort students as required.

Skills

Experience with special needs youth

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Education

Associate's Degree or High School Diploma with passing ParaPro score
