Job summary

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is seeking exceptional candidates for the position of Special Education Teacher Assistant at Hunt Club Elementary School. The role focuses on supporting the academic, behavioral, and health/hygiene needs of students as directed by Special Education Teachers.

Successful candidates will have a desire to assist students with specialized needs and the ability to apply guidance to real work situations.

Qualifications

• Support students with specialized needs under direction of teachers.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds when required.
• COMMITMENT to health/hygiene and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with academic, behavioral, and health/hygiene needs of students as directed by Special Education Teachers.
• Support implementation of individualized education plans and classroom routines.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a positive learning environment.
