Job summary

Oswego Community Unit School District 308 is seeking a Special Education Teacher Assistant to support the academic, behavioral, and health/hygiene needs of students as directed by Special Education Teachers.

Successful candidates will assist students with specialized needs to reach their goals, applying best practices for working with children and young adults with specialized needs, including the ability to lift and move up to fifty pounds with assistance when required.

Qualifications

• Desire to assist students with specialized needs to achieve their goals.
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds without assistance or up to 50 pounds with help.
