Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma, or GED.
• Preferred: Knowledge of BSP implementation.
• Preferred: Knowledge of PBIS framework.

Responsibilities

• De-escalate behavior crises and help students regain calm.
• Maintain safety and supervise students in the room.
• Track data: triggers, responses, duration, and other data.
• Coordinate reintegration with classroom team for safe return to group.
• Comply with federal/state laws on holds, seclusion, or quiet room use.
• Debrief with clinicians, teachers, and admins after crises to assess interventions.
• Support IEP goals with social-emotional/behavioral objectives.
• Provide real-time feedback to teachers on coping strategies.
• Participate in professional development and trainings.
