Qualifications

• Effective communication skills.
• Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs through ARD with parents and staff.
• Implement instructional or therapeutic programs with measurable prep evidence.
• Assess student learning styles and tailor strategies and materials accordingly.
• Present material per IEP guidelines using varied techniques and technology.
• Collaborate with general teachers to adapt curricula for inclusion.
• Participate in ARD meetings and selection of instructional media.
• Establish a conducive classroom environment and manage behavior per IEP.
