Job summary

ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support school-wide implementation of a positive behavior support program. You will focus on proactive strategies, de-escalation, and collaboration with IEP teams to improve student outcomes.

The role requires ABA knowledge, PBIS experience, and the ability to document behavior incidents while following safety protocols and CPR/First Aid guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate's degree or higher in a closely related field preferred.
• RBT credential preferred or in process of obtaining licensure.

Responsibilities

• Implement targeted interventions to improve positive academic and behavioral outcomes.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and coach staff on strategies.
• Maintain accurate behavior records and BIPs.
• Collect and chart data to monitor progress with IEP teams.
• Support classroom staff and assist in crisis de-escalation.
