Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking an Education Assistant for the Special Education WAVE program at Zachary Lane Elementary to support students in a structured learning environment.

The seven-hour workday includes 6.5 hours of paid time with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, at $24.03 per hour under the current contract plus benefits. Responsibilities include supervision, clerical tasks, and small-group work under guidance.

Qualifications

• Two years of college credits (MN) or higher degree required.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred.
• Passing score on ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment required.

Responsibilities

• Assists in supervision and instruction to students with disabilities.
• Provides clerical and organizational support to teachers.
• Works with individuals or small groups as directed.
• Provides support for students in crisis.
• Willingness to lift, carry and physically manage as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned by teacher or principal.
