Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Level 3 K-12 Educational Assistant License.
• Must hold or be able to obtain a Substitute License.

Responsibilities

• Assigned to regular or special education classrooms, librarians, school nurses, other specialists, or workroom monitoring.
• Assist teachers and professionals with instructional preparation and delivery.
• Support one-on-one and small-group activities.
• Facilitate student transfer and mobility tasks.
• Provide student-care duties including feeding, toileting, hygiene, clothing changes, and mobility.
• Implement student goals and mandates.
• Manage or redirect disruptive students.
• Supervise students in playground, cafeteria, restrooms, and hallways.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
