Mason Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Special Education Assistant to support students with diverse needs in Alaiedon Elementary. You will provide targeted instructional and behavioral support under certified staff, fostering inclusive, supportive classroom environments.

Responsibilities include one-on-one or small-group instruction, data collection on progress, and helping implement behavior plans. This is an in-person, school-year role with regular schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children is required.
• Positive attitude and ability to build rapport with students.
• Ability to work cooperatively with teachers and students.

Responsabilités

• Provide instructional and behavioral support under certified staff.
• Assist with one-on-one or small-group instruction and data collection.
• Support implementation of intervention strategies and behavior plans.
• Help maintain a calm, positive learning environment and monitor student transitions.
