Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, provides education services for K-12 students needing additional supports. Join our team to work in in-district classrooms or standalone schools and help students overcome challenges.

You will monitor progress, communicate with families, and support individualized services alongside teachers. The role emphasizes collaborative planning, data-driven instruction, and implementing SESI’s PBIS framework CASE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction implementing the SESI rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support and assessments.
• Reinforce learning by assigning tasks and using data to select materials.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and accommodations as needed.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and crisis management for safety.
• Support daily lesson planning and student progress tracking.
• Supervise students and coordinate with other staff to address needs.
