Responsibilities

• Follow local, state and federal law and district policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information.
• Assist in movement and care of non-ambulatory students as needed.
• Work with classroom teacher to develop instructional materials.
• Assist teacher in classroom activities such as checking notebooks and correcting papers.
• Participate in professional development to improve skills.
• Prepare class displays and bulletin boards to create an engaging learning environment.
• May substitute for the teacher in emergencies.
• Support non-instructional duties including hall duty, lunchroom, and ground monitoring.
• Operate equipment used to produce instructional materials.
