Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and/or Experience: Must meet current highly qualified requirements.

• Language Skills: Fluent in English; Spanish may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher in the instructional setting.
• Maintains classroom discipline with and without disabilities.
• Organizes and manages student work under teacher direction.
• Assists teachers in correcting and recording student work and testing students.
• Supervises class for short periods.
• Assists students with daily work.
• Reads aloud to students.
• Assists students on computers and with software/testing programs.
• Implements IEP modifications as requested by the teacher.
• Schedules and assists with IEP meetings.
