Qualifications

• Must meet current highly qualified requirements.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing fluently in English; Spanish fluency may be preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher in an instructional setting.
• Maintains classroom discipline using appropriate methods for all students.
• Organizes and manages student work under teacher direction.
• Assists teachers in correcting and recording student work and in testing students.
• Supervises class for short periods.
• Supports daily student activities and computer-based programs.
• Implements IEP modifications and schedules IEP meetings.
