Job summary

North Allegheny School District seeks multiple Special Education Assistants II-B at Marshall Elementary School, effective August 13, 2026. The assistants will support identified students in regular and/or special education settings and work with Inclusion Facilitators, SPED teachers, and general education teachers to address academic, emotional, social, behavioral and physical needs.

Positions work seven hours per day during the school year.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: 48 credits of post‑secondary education, an Associate’s degree, or successful completion of the ParaPro Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support services for identified students assigned to select regular and/or special education environments.
• Collaborate with Inclusion Facilitators, Special Education Teachers and Regular Education Teachers to support students’ academic, emotional, social, behavioral and physical needs.
