Responsibilities

Provide instructional services under the supervision of a licensed teacher.
Assist with implementing Individualized Education Plans for students with significant disabilities.
Adapt and implement classroom lessons and activities under supervision.
Collaborate with staff to implement and monitor Behavioral Plans.
Communicate effectively with the team and parents.
Collect data and provide input to the behavioral specialist and team.
Assist students with daily living skills.
Supervise students in all areas outside the classroom when needed.
Plan daily activities and assist with record-keeping.
Support students using adaptive communication devices.
Attend staffings and trainings as needed.
