Qualifications

• Level 1 NM Educational Assistant License with potential to advance to Level 3 within 90 days; PreK-12 Substitute License.
• AA in Early Childhood Development or willingness to earn 6 credits per academic year toward completion.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in achieving instructional goals by working with individual students or small groups.
• Supervise students during transitions, drills, recess, and field trips; including on school transportation.
• Assist with attendance, grading, and classroom organization.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to a designated student with physical, behavioral, or cognitive needs.
• Maintain open communication with teachers and ancillary providers.
