• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as a teacher aide or working with children.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher by performing instructional duties and preparing classroom materials.
• Supervise student behavior and implement behavior modification plans.
• Provide personal hygiene and physical care assistance as required.
• Record student data such as skill practice and toileting.
• Operate classroom technology and audio/visual equipment.
• Support language development through reading and conversations.
• Participate in class activities and supervision during independent work.
