Clear Creek Amana School District is seeking an Aide/Associate at Oak Hill Elementary in Tiffin, IA to assist teachers in supporting students with disabilities across instructional settings.

You will help implement Individual Education Plans, supervise students, maintain logs, support behavior plans, and prepare instructional materials. The role emphasizes teamwork with teachers, staff, and families and requires reliability, flexibility, and compassion.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children preferred but not required.
• Post-secondary coursework in educational field preferred but not required.
• Initiative to be a self-starter.
• Intuitive to the needs of the student.
• Ability to work with classroom teacher, support staff, administrators, AEA and parents of student as part of an educational team.

Responsabilités

• Maintain confidentiality.

• Assist classroom teacher with educational activities.
• Follow behavior management plans for individual students.
• Maintain students' daily behavior logs.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring students' Individual Education Plans.
• Prepare and organize instructional materials and equipment.
• Perform personal care duties for students with disabilities as needed.
• Protect and supervise students during bus loading/unloading and related activities.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly instructional environment.
• Assist in implementing school-wide and classroom behavior management strategies.
