Greenwood Elementary School in Midland, TX is seeking an Educational Aide to support students with disabilities in and out of the classroom. You will assist with IEPs, self-help, behavior plans, and instructional programs under the supervision of a certified teacher.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a Texas aide certificate, and prior experience with children. This is a full-time, on-site position focused on safety, confidentiality, and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or two years of college required.
• Texas educational aide certificate required.

Responsabilités

• Assist students with disabilities inside and outside the classroom.
• Implement IEPs with self-help, behavior management, and instructional activities.
• Assist with physical needs and personal care.
• Support student safety including crisis intervention when needed.
• Escort students between rooms and supervise during lunch, bus, and playground.
• Maintain confidentiality and participate in meetings and trainings.
