Qualifications

• Possess or apply for a TEA Educational Aide Certificate (personal expense)
• Educational Aide certificate as established by the State Board for Educator Certification (requirements described in the posting)

Responsibilities

• Follow the directions of the supervisor
• Prepare instructional materials and classroom displays
• Demonstrate acceptable written and verbal skills
• Work cooperatively with teacher and students
• Assist in maintaining student discipline
• Assist in caring for students' safety and equipment
• Work with individual students or small groups on instructional exercises
• Inform the teacher of any special needs or problems of students
• All other duties as assigned by the supervisor
