Job summary

Amergis is seeking a School Aide in Tinley Park, IL to support students requiring instructional and behavioral assistance under supervision of the special education team. The role includes helping with mobility and therapeutic care per health professional guidance.

The position is contract - full time, 36 hours per week, with competitive pay and benefits including health/dental/vision/Life, 401(k), and weekly paychecks.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist students requiring instructional and/or behavioral support under supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee.
• May provide support for personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs as established by health professionals.
