Brooklyn STEM Academy in Martinsville (MSD of Martinsville) is seeking a Non-Certified - Special Education Aide Self-Contained. You will support teachers, reinforce IEP goals, and assist with behavior plans in a structured, inclusive setting.

Responsibilities include working with students individually and in small groups, supervising transitions, assisting with mobility, and providing personal care as needed. Minimum high school diploma; hourly $14.75–$20.25; benefits for 30+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Support special education teachers in creating a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with behavior intervention plans and personal care needs as required.
• Reinforce IEP goals and learning objectives through small-group instruction.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with students individually and in small groups to reinforce goals.
• Assist with transitions, supervision, and mobility support in classrooms and on campus.
• Maintain professional composure in a fast-paced school setting while managing multiple tasks.
