Qualifications

• Candidate must meet the requirements for a Paraprofessional: You must have one of the following:
• 60 college credit hours from an accredited college
• Associate degree
• Passing score on the Work Keys or ParaPro

Responsibilities

• Assists with implementing IEPs under teacher direction.
• Supports individual or small group instruction and practice.
• Attends to needs of students including personal hygiene and safety.
• Escort and supervise students during arrivals, transitions, and departures.
• Collects and reports student performance data to teachers.
• Maintains classroom records and distributes materials.
• Supports behavioral management and implements behavior plans.
• Participates in staff development and safety training.
