Moberly Public Schools is seeking a Special Education Aide to support students with disabilities in a 9-month school year. The ideal candidate will work one-on-one with students, assist with movements and personal care, and help manage behavior under the supervision of a Building Administrator.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED and at least 60 college hours, substitute cert, or ParaPro exam. Typical hours run weekdays during school hours, with occasional weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Minimum of 60 college hours or substitute certification or ParaPro Exam.
• Ability to work under a team concept.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Work one on one with students to facilitate learning.
• Assist students with disabilities according to individualized needs including transfers and positioning.
• Assist with physical care such as feeding, bathroom needs, and personal hygiene.
• Assist in managing student behavior.
