Responsabilités

• Engage students in instructional activities under the direction of the teacher.
• Help students master instructional materials assigned by teachers.
• Perform clerical duties in support of the special education classroom (attendance, materials, bulletin boards).
• Assist in modification of instructional materials.
• Administer, score and record tests as the teacher recommends.
• Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning.
• Record data related to students’ IEP objectives and plans.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and prepare orders.
• Read to students and participate in oral communication activities.
• Operate classroom equipment and assist in the library/media center.
• Supervise students during lunch, assemblies, and transitions.
• Maintain confidentiality of student information and ethical behavior.
• Participate in training and provide instruction to small groups as needed.
• Support a positive learning environment and student discipline.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
