Job summary

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the listed education requirements.
• Current Texas Educational Aide certificate or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and have experience working with children.
• Ability to work with children with disabilities and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in preparing instructional materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
• Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe classroom environment.
• Assist with inventory, care, and routine maintenance of instructional equipment and materials.
• Support teachers with administrative recordkeeping and preparation of required documentation and reports.
• Provide orientation and assistance to substitute teachers.
• Assist students with physical disabilities and daily care.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground duty.
• Follow district policies and participate in professional development.
