Job summary

Keller ISD in Keller, Texas is hiring a Special Education Aide III- Life-3 Aide for the 183 Days (2026-2027) school year. You will work under a Certified Teacher to meet the physical and instructional needs of students with disabilities in a self-contained classroom, supporting IEP implementation and behavior management.

The role includes instructional and student management duties, materials preparation, testing support, and daily supervision inside and outside the classroom.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in educational settings is preferred.
• Understanding of Special Education programs and IEP basics.
• Ability to follow district policies and confidentiality requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students under teacher guidance and work with individuals or small groups.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and classroom displays.
• Assist with administration and scoring of tests and assignments.
• Maintain a neat, orderly classroom and assist with equipment care.
• Support substitute teachers and help manage student behavior.
• Supervise students during lunch, bus, and playground duties.
• Assist with implementing IEPs and adapting methods by student need.
