Job summary

Jordan School District is seeking a Special Education Aide (PT) in Bluffdale, UT to support students with mild/moderate needs. You will work with lead teachers to provide academic, social, and behavioral support and help students access the curriculum through tailored accommodations.

Must complete Basic Training (5 hours) within one week of hire. Training may enable lane progression with the Special Education department.

• Additional training available through the Special Education department allowing lane progression after completion.

Responsibilities

• Work with students one-on-one or in small groups to reinforce reading, writing, and math.
• Help carry out tailored accommodations and modifications to ensure curriculum access.
• Use positive reinforcement and behavior plans to support self-regulation and social skills.
• Observe and document student growth to refine support strategies.
• Assist with classroom organization, material preparation, and supervising students.
