Qualifications

• Meets Highly Qualified standards as defined by ESSA.
• Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent credentials.
• 60 college hours or ParaPro exam requirement benefit the role.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Special Education Teacher in implementing IEPs.
• Support students in group and one-on-one settings with academic tasks and social skills.
• Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Provide hands-on assistance during activities and adaptive physical education.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Foster a caring, empathetic atmosphere for students.
