Aiken County Public Schools is seeking an Instructional Aide for the SIX POINTS LEARNING CENTER in Aiken, SC. This 7.5-hour, 181-day role supports students with diverse learning needs and helps maintain a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Requires either an Associate’s Degree, or a High School diploma with 60 college hours, or ParaPro exam.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Meets Highly Qualified standards as defined by ESSA.

Responsibilities

• Support students in group and one-on-one settings with academics and activities.
• Help maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Provide hands-on assistance during lessons and classwork.
• Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
• Foster a caring, empathetic atmosphere for students.
