Job summary

The aide will work under supervision with tasks from planning lessons to basic materials preparation, supporting students' academic, social, and emotional needs as part of a collaborative school team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Must have basic computer skills in Word, Spreadsheets, and data entry.
• Ability to assist teachers and manage classroom activities under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing behavior and procedures conducive for learning.
• Assist in planning and directing learning activities.
• Assist in working with small groups of learners to meet educational needs.
• Assist in meeting the physical needs of students.
• Under supervision, assist with instructional materials and attendance/grades documentation.
• Participate in in-service training programs.
