Job summary

The role requires meeting Tier 1 paraprofessional requirements, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to pursue required certificates within stated timeframes.

Qualifications

• Meets Tier 1 Paraprofessional Requirements and maintains appropriate credentials.
• Experience assisting students with instruction and maintaining classroom order.
• Ability to follow teacher direction and support universal precautions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with instruction and activities for individuals or groups as assigned by the teacher.
• Supervise students in instructional settings and during non-instructional times.
• Serve as main contact for substitute teachers and support behavior management.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with classroom setup and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality and perform other duties as assigned.
