Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 60 college credits earned, or an associate’s degree, or a passing score on an MDE approved ETS Paraprofessional assessment.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Candidates with strong written and verbal communication, and ability to work with diverse populations, are favored.

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning and implementing strategies for behavioral management and goals.
• Assist in building activities, meetings, IEPs, and instructional activities.
• Present lessons and help prepare materials under the supervision of a certified teacher.
• Assist with transportation loading/unloading of buses and school vehicles.
• Transport scholars to activities and supervise during field trips and meals.
• Maintain attendance records and communicate with families and staff as needed.
