The ideal candidate will assist in classroom activities, help with daily living tasks, and ensure safety during school activities.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a minimum of 60 college credits earned
• Obtained an associate’s or higher degree; or
• Passing score on an MDE approved ETS Paraprofessional assessment
• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, implementation, and evaluation of behavioral management strategies.
• Assist in instruction and materials preparation as directed by the certified teacher.
• Assist with transportation loading/unloading and field trips supervision as needed.
• Provide support in medical, adaptive daily living, and self-care tasks for scholars.
• Maintain attendance, behavior plans, and relevant records.
• Communicate with scholars, parents, and staff in a professional and supportive manner.
