Responsibilities

• Administration of medication to students per WV code and policy
• Lifting a minimum of 100 lbs
• Use of adaptive equipment and prosthetic devices
• Participation in CPR, First Aid, Passive Restraint, Behavior Management training
• Provide direct supervision and attend to personal care needs
• Implement health care and behavior plans
• Work in a team-teaching setting under certified staff
• Apply intervention techniques and structured handling by teachers
• Utilize physical intervention and support techniques
• Carry out job coach responsibilities with appropriate training as needed
