Job summary
Achieve Beyond seeks a dedicated Special Education ABA Instructor in Brooklyn, NY to provide pediatric therapy and evaluations in homes, clinics, and community settings. The role offers a flexible schedule and collaboration with a supportive clinical team to help children reach developmental goals.
You will educate families on intervention strategies, work across NYC area boroughs, and maintain accurate progress notes while following established therapy plans and HIPAA guidelines.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Requires NYS certifications/licensing as listed above.
- Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth to 21 years in natural settings.
- Educate families and caregivers on intervention strategies to facilitate involvement and carry-over.
- Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare centers, preschools, clinics, and community settings.
- Follow the therapy plan, plan for ongoing treatment, and document progress.
- Prepare progress reports and maintain child records with confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
- Submit required documents within established timelines.

We serve children and families in the metro New York area (all 5 boroughs of NYC, Hudson Valley, Long Island and Albany), Virginia/DC area, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut and Delaware.

Cases available throughout Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn and Staten Island boroughs.

$56.00-$63.00
Clinical
- Flexible work schedule

- Provide pediatric therapy services and/or evaluations to children aged birth 21 years in a natural setting.
- Educate families and caregivers on applicable intervention strategies to facilitate active involvement and carry-over.
- Work in diverse settings such as client homes, daycare homes/centers, preschools, clinics, and other community settings.
- Follow the unique therapy plan established for a family/child, plan for ongoing treatment and address identified goals while documenting progress.
- Prepare progress reports as indicated.
- Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines.
- Must have a passion for working with children and families!
- One of the following NYS certifications/licenses:
- Students with Disabilities (Birth 2) Initial or Professional Certification
- Permanent Special Education Certification
- TSHH Permanent Certification
- TSLD Initial or Professional Certification
- NYS Licensed Master Social Worker
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker
- Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
- Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!
- Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to:
- Driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
- The ability to ascend and descend staircases.
- The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
- The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.
$56.00-63.00
