Job summary

The Webster Central School District is hiring a Special Education Teaching Assistant for OWL Middle School, starting October 20, 2026. Applicants must have NYS certification and experience working with students who require special education support.

Responsibilities include providing direct instructional services, assisting with individual educational plans (IEPs), and working closely with teachers and administrators.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant - Level I, II, or III or certification as a teacher.
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
• Ability to communicate and work well with students, teachers, and parents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional and support services to students.
• Work with individual or groups of students on instructional projects.
• Assist with the implementation of student 504, IEP, and behavior plans.
