Qualifications

• Must have NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant - Level I, II, or III.
• Physical condition commensurate with the demands of the position.
• Communicate and work well with students, teachers, parents, and co-workers.
• Experience working in Special Education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instructional and support services to students under the direction of a teacher.
• Work individually or with groups of students on instructional projects.
• Assist students in using available instructional resources.
• Attend building and district meetings/workshops as required.
