Job summary

Coweta Public Schools in Southside Elementary School is seeking a Special Education Teacher Assistant for the 2026–2027 school year. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; paraprofessional certification is REQUIRED.

Qualifications

• Paraprofessional Certification required; the district can assist obtaining it.

Responsibilities

• Assignments will vary across teachers and duties.
• Assist teachers by supporting individual student needs.
• Provide in-classroom tutoring and prepare classroom materials and reports.
• Serve on duty schedule as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or Superintendent.
