Qualifications

• Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card is required.
• Maturity and patience to support students academically and emotionally.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and restrain a student if necessary for safety.
• Ability to adapt to changes and manage competing student demands.
• Punctuality and reliability in showing up to work as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Assist student(s) with technology and computer-based learning programs as directed.
• Work with student(s) and teacher(s) on academic requirements and grade-appropriate work.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instruction and support with lessons.
• Assist with lesson assessments and student projects.
• Support PBIS and school-wide behavior systems and maintain a positive educational environment.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators and support staff to meet individual student needs.
