Job summary

This full-time position requires an IVP Fingerprint Clearance, CPR/BLS, and either an Associate degree or 60 college units or a paraprofessional certification, plus COVID-19 vaccinations or declinations.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instructional activities, behavioral strategies, and IEP goals.
• Provide individual and group support with academics, social skills, and daily living activities.
• Monitor students and equipment to promote a safe environment.
• Assist with student care, including lifting, toileting, feeding, and personal hygiene as needed.
• Observe, document, and maintain student records according to agency and state requirements.
• Transport students to activities or appointments when required.
• Participate in training and professional development.
