Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher in establishing a safe, nurturing classroom environment.
• Consult with teacher on plans and curriculum activities.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining classroom materials and supplies.
• Participate in school activities and staff meetings; pursue personal growth.
• Observe student strengths/needs and help set individual goals.
• Support classroom environment respecting cultural backgrounds and learning styles.
• Plan, implement and document curriculum activities across developmental areas.
• Attend parent meetings and involve families in the program.
• Provide for students' physical needs as required.
