Job summary

ASH CREEK ELEMENTARY in Monmouth, Oregon is seeking an Instructional Assistant IV to support classroom staff in the Basic Life Skills program and Resource/Intensive Learning Center settings. You will assist with small-group and one-on-one instruction and supervise students to ensure a safe learning environment.

Must have an Associate's degree or higher or paraprofessional certification; English fluency required; prior experience with students in educational settings preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree (A.A.), the equivalent or higher, or successful completion of a paraprofessional assessment.
• Experience: Previous experience with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate fluently verbally and in writing in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in performing duties and tasks to support instructional objectives.
• Assist students with personal care tasks and monitor progress under IEP guidance.
• Supervise students in various settings and maintain safety and order.
