Job summary

York County School Division seeks a 2026-2027 Special Education Para-Educator (Inclusion) at Coventry Elementary School to assist teachers with instructional materials, reinforce lessons, and support students with disabilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher required or HS diploma with additional credits.
• Bachelor’s degree qualifies for Tier Two status.
• Strong communication and written skills expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education and classroom teachers with instructional material prep.
• Support instructional objectives and student learning as directed by staff.
• Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Provide basic personal care assistance when assigned, within policy.
